20 Years 20 Bikes Giveaway Winners

1. Peter - We received a great poem from Shannon on what Freedom means to her son Peter. On May 21, 2010, Ken Vanstraelen, President of Freedom Concepts and Account Representative Jason Getz were in California to present the bike to Peter and parents Shannon and Stuart. What a great day, the bike was presented at Peter's school during the morning flag salute. The entire school was outside to see the smile on Peter's face as he got on the bike for the first time. 2. St. Amant - Grant Miyai, the musical therapist at St. Amant Centre, organized staff and clients to create a great video featuring an original musical composition he wrote, which can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pF_rfgB_pco. As one of the first facilities that Freedom Concepts worked with on our product development, it was very exciting to present this bike to St. Amant in Winnipeg on June 22, 2010.

3. Jonathan - The third bike was presented in July 2010 to Jonathan and mom Krista shortly after the Abilities Expo in Chicago. Krista sent in a an inspirational collage that shows what Freedom means to her and her son Jonathan. Thanks to Account Representatives David Kron and Cam Chabot for presenting the bike to the family.

4. Holland-Bloorview - This beautiful "Breaking Down Barriers" Butterfly was submitted by Holland-Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. The bike, presented in October 2010, will be happily pedalled by many at this facility in Toronto.

5. Lakeview School - Freedom is...riding a bike. Thanks to staff and students at Lakeview for their winning poem and collage. Lakeview was presented with a bike in May 2011. We hope many students will enjoy riding the new Freedom Concepts bike.

6. Roosevelt Childrens Center - Congratulations to Roosevelt Childrens Center! Their words of Freedom are truly inspirational. Stay tuned for future news of the bike presentation!
